Samar Colleges, Inc. (SC) has taken a significant step towards internationalization by signing Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Dong Thap University (DThU), Vietnam, and Samar State University (SSU), Philippines, on October 22, at the Office of the School President, and October 24, 2024, at the SC Auditorium, respectively.

These MOUs were signed by Mr. Rhett Caesar L. Piczon, SC President, together with Mr. Le Chanh Truc, DThU International Affairs Staff, and Dr. Elmer A. Irene, SSU Director for International Office, as representative of the SSU President, on the dates mentioned above. This partnership fosters faculty and student academic exchange, research collaboration, and cultural understanding.

To celebrate this partnership, SC hosted a cultural and academic immersion program on October 24, 2024, in which eight (8) Teacher Education students from DThU and key officials from SSU participated.

This event underscores the institution’s dedication to expanding its academic and cultural horizons.
