CATBALOGAN CITY, Philippines — Samar Colleges, Inc. has officially joined Ethos Universitas as an Honorary Companion, marking a significant step in the institution’s expanding global academic engagement. Notably, Samar Colleges is the only higher education institution (HEI) from Eastern Visayas among the 17 Philippine HEIs currently affiliated with the international platform.

Ethos Universitas is an Italy-based international university platform that promotes ethical leadership, academic integrity, and social responsibility among HEIs worldwide. It is linked to Panathlon International, an organization recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for advancing ethical values, responsible governance, and sustainable development across institutions beyond the realm of sports.

The institutional membership was conferred upon School President Mr. Rhett Caesar L. Piczon, which records another milestone in Samar Colleges’ continuing efforts to strengthen international linkages and align its educational mission with globally recognized values.

Through this affiliation, Samar Colleges becomes part of a global academic network dedicated to strengthening ethics and integrity in higher education, opening opportunities for collaboration, dialogue, and values-based initiatives.
